The HP StorageWorks MSL8096 Tape Library will meet a broad range of demanding data storage needs including unattended backup, archive, and disaster recovery for medium to large businesses, workgroups, or remote offices. With browser-based remote management, the MSL8096 is easily managed from across the room, or across the globe, reducing dependencies on your local IT staff.

The HP MSL8096 Tape Library offers up to 76TB of compressed storage capacity in only an 8U form factor and is available in a variety of configurations. The MSL8096 Tape Library provides your choice of Ultrium 960 or Ultrium 920 SAS Tape Drives as well as the option to add a redundant power supply for even greater reliability. You can be sure that the MSL8096 meets the highest performance standards of larger tape libraries with a rating of 2 million mean swaps between failures. The MSL8096 enables you to easily manage your media both in and out of the library with a standard bar code reader and eight 12-slot removable magazines. As your data protection needs increase, simply add additional performance or capacity to your MSL8096 tape library with tool-free drive upgrade kits.
